Welcome to Day 1 of our October 2024 fasting and prayer programme at ROSGMI.

As we embark on this spiritual journey themed “Come Up Here” (Revelation 4:1), we are reminded of the divine invitation to draw closer to God and experience His glorious presence.

Today, on Nigeria’s Independence Day, we have the unique opportunity to not only seek personal breakthroughs but also intercede for our nation.

In today’s prayer guide, we will focus on thanksgiving, seeking God’s mercy, open heavens, and success in every area of our lives.

Join us in this sacred time of fasting, trusting that God will answer our prayers and lead us to new heights of spiritual growth.

May this day mark the beginning of powerful testimonies for you, your family, and our nation.

1. THANKSGIVING: (Psalm 7:17, 1 Chronicles 29:13)

With our hands lifted high, let us thank God for:

• • The month of October.
  • Our past and present fasting and prayer programs.
  • All our members, our Servant Leader, our loved ones, businesses, and everything that concerns us.

2. MERCY: (2 Chronicles 30:9b, Micah 7:18)

• • Oh Lord of Mercy, show me Your mercy; make me a candidate of Your grace.
  • I and my entire household receive boldness to come to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace in Jesus’ name.

3. SUCCESS: (1 Kings 2:3, Deuteronomy 8:18)

• • I decree and declare success in all I do; I shall not experience any loss in Jesus’ name, Amen.
  • I decree and declare that my children, loved ones, and I are successful in our careers and highly favoured for greater heights in Jesus’ name, Amen.

4. ROSGMI/BODY OF CHRIST: (Hebrews 6:10, 2 Corinthians 9:10)

• • Father, increase the fruits of Your righteousness in ROSGMI and all our churches, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
  • Gracious Father, rekindle Your fire in ROSGMI and the Body of Christ. Lord, before we call, please answer us speedily. Destroy every power contending with the Body of Christ, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

5. BLOOD OF JESUS: (1 John 1:7, Hebrews 9:14)

• • Blood of Jesus, cleanse our consciences from every impurity so that we may serve You, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
  • By Your blood, O Lord, I and my loved ones are untouchable, unshakable, and immovable, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

6. OPEN HEAVEN: (Luke 3:21, 1 Peter 3:12)

• • I decree and declare open heavens of greatness, signs and wonders, increase, and accelerated promotion, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
  • I, my loved ones, our Servant Leader, and ROSGMI refuse to operate under closed heavens. Our heavens are open continually by fire, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

7. PERSONAL REQUEST: (Matthew 21:22)
