As we embark on the final 3-day prayer and fasting program of the year, we do so with hearts brimming with gratitude for God’s faithfulness throughout 2024.

This month’s theme, Gratitude (Isaiah 12:4-5), calls us to reflect on His countless blessings, offer heartfelt thanksgiving, and position ourselves for even greater testimonies in the year ahead.

Today, our prayer guide focuses on key areas, including thanksgiving, mercy, spiritual growth, healing, and divine empowerment. Each prayer point is designed to inspire deeper communion with God, align our hearts with His will, and strengthen us for the journey ahead.

1. THANKSGIVING: (Psalms 95:1-5, Psalms 9:1)

• • Let us thank God for the grace to partake in this December fasting and prayer programme.
  • Appreciate the Lord for the success of the just-concluded crusade.
  • Give thanks to God for His faithfulness throughout the year:
    • From January to December
    • Over our Servant Leader
    • For our families
    • For ROSGMI
    • For Nigeria
    • For good health

2. MERCY: (Psalm 25:6, James 3:17)

• • Oh God of mercy, please show mercy to me and my household in this new month, in Jesus’ name.
  • Father, let Your mercy speak for me. In this month of gratitude, may Your mercy enable me, the Servant Leader, ROSGMI, and all our loved ones to finish well, in Jesus’ name.

3. SPIRITUAL GROWTH: (Isaiah 40:28, 2 Peter 3:18)

• • I decree and declare that my spiritual eyes, ears, and mind are open. I am spiritually attuned, gaining ground in my spiritual life, in Jesus’ name.
  • Father, I pray to grow in grace, strength, and the knowledge and understanding of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, in Jesus’ name.

4. HEALING: (Jeremiah 17:14, Exodus 15:26)

• • I declare total healing over my life and the lives of my loved ones, in Jesus’ name.
  • I receive complete healing from every arrow of sickness, disease, and infirmity, in Jesus’ name.

5. DIVINE EMPOWERMENT: (Ephesians 3:16, Luke 24:49)

• • Lord, empower me and my loved ones to complete every vision, project, dream, and purpose You have given us, in Jesus’ name.
  • I receive a fresh anointing of Your power today. Empower me, Lord Jesus, to overcome every work of darkness, in Jesus’ name.

6. OPEN HEAVEN: (1 Peter 3:12, Revelation 19:11)

• • I take authority over every power of darkness obstructing my open heaven. I bind, rebuke, and dismantle them; I command them to be consumed by fire, in Jesus’ name.
  • Father, in this month of gratitude, give me more reasons to thank You, in Jesus’ name.
  • I decree that my heaven is open by fire:
    • My financial heaven is open.
    • My health is perfected.
    • Signs and wonders will follow me.

7. PERSONAL REQUESTS: (Philippians 4:6-7)

• • Bring your specific requests before the Lord with thanksgiving and faith, trusting Him for answers.
